Oxford and Harriton skate to 8-8 tie

Behind two goals and four assists from Zackery Mullen and two goals and two assists from Jared Giovan, Oxford drew with Harriton 8-8.

Oxford found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Oxford averages 3.5 goals per game. Oxford got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Oxford also got points from Giovan, who also finished with two goals and two assists and Ethan Dreisbach, who also registered two goals and one assist. Zachary Balla also scored for Oxford. In addition, Oxford received assists from Tyler Swick and Alexander Wehner, who each chipped in one.

Harriton managed to stay out of the box for the most part, tallying one minor for 12 minutes in penalty time. Even so, Harriton surpassed its low season average of 6.0 penalty minutes per game. Harriton surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Harriton has scored at the pace of 4.2 goals per game during the current campaign.

Harriton was led by Nick Wert, who racked up six goals. Harriton also had goals scored by Will DeVerter and Jesse Davis, who each put in one. More assists for Harriton came via Patric Foulk, who had three and Sam Kirby, Joonas Knuutinen, and Jake Gross, who contributed one each.

Thomas Harris rejected 11 shots on goal for Oxford. Oxford incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Tomer Yaron recorded 22 saves for Harriton. Harriton registered two goals on five power play opportunities.
