M3-Southern Connecticut State survived a determined comeback attempt by M3-Pitts-Johnstown on the way to a 5-4 win.

A goal by Matthew Dostie put M3-Southern Connecticut State up 5-2 in the second period, but M3-Pitts-Johnstown pulled to within one on Peter Kipin's tally 16:56 into the third period.

Tom Brunski was all over the ice for M3-Southern Connecticut State, as he registered two goals in the win. Brunski found the back of the net on the power play 8:51 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and again while on the power play 1:54 into the second to make the score 3-1 M3-Southern Connecticut State.
