Austin Whetham gave the Woodstock Navy Vets a 2-1 (OT) victory over the Paris Mounties when he scored 10:14 into the extra period. The win gave Woodstock a 2-0 lead in the best of seven series. The Navy Vets were led by goalie Mike Harrison, who finished with 26 saves while allowing one goal. The solid play of Harrison will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.93. Woodstock was led by Whetham, who tallied one goal. The Navy Vets forced Paris goalie Hayden Padalino to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. Woodstock also got a goal from Jack Taylor as well. In addition, Woodstock received assists from Dylan Wettlaufer, who had two and Chris Thompson and Justin Elms, who each chipped in one. The Mounties were led by Graham Evans, who scored the team's only goal. Evans scored on the power play 13:03 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Paris. Paris had taken the advantage when Woodstock's Cam Leslie got sent off for tripping. Brodie Smith provided the assist. The Navy Vets incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Padalino recorded 37 saves for the Mounties. Paris incurred 34 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
