M1 Towson University took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have M1 Penn State University Berks storm back on a Zachary Higgins goal 19:20 into the third period to pull to one goal down. Matthew Mcguire had two goals to lead the Tigers to victory. M1 Towson University racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with six minors and one major for 27 minutes in penalty time. The Tigers surpassed its season average of 15.0 penalty minutes per game. M1 Towson University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Nittany Lions to score on any of their five power plays.
