M2 George Washington University let multiple leads slip away before eventually digging out of a two hole to pick up the win. The Colonials took a 5-4 advantage on a goal by Will Yerkovich at 16:40 in the third period. M2 George Washington University went down 2-0 after M2 Virginia University of's Kevin Mccollum put the puck home on the power play at 14:54 in the second period. After tying things up at 5-5 on a goal by Raffi Keuroglian at 17:03 in the third, the Colonials got the game-winner from Austin Fruchter at 17:28 in the third period. With three goals and three assists between them, Yerkovich and Luke Yerkovich teamed up to power M2 George Washington University's offense. Yerkovich had two goals and one assist and Yerkovich also notched one goal and two assists. The Colonials got an offensive boost from their blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
