Mariphat Gerjarusak gave the M2 Elon University Phoenix a 4-3 (OT) victory over the M2 Duke University Blue Devils when he scored 5:00 into the extra period.

M2 Elon University overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Phoenix trailed 2-0 after a goal by M2 Duke University's Jordan Maynard at 20:00 in the first period. M2 Elon University tied things up at 3-3 on a goal by Demitri Marken at 20:00 in the third period.

Gerjarusak had a great game for the Phoenix, netting two goals.

M2 Elon University also got a goal from Ryan Hallahan as well. In addition, M2 Elon University received assists from Sam Lancto, who had two and Joe King, Nick Garfield, John MacDonald, Evan Weisburger, and Tom MacDonald, who each chipped in one.

M2 Duke University also got points from Travis Buck, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. More assists for M2 Duke University came via Tom Cahill, Joseph Lilien, Kevin Brooke, and Andrew Lee, who contributed one each.

M2 Elon University ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play. The Blue Devils avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays.
