M1 Minot State University rips M1 Non-ACHA Team, 6-2

The M1 Minot State University Beavers had a two-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-2 win over M1 Non-ACHA Team.

Dylan Gejdos was all over the ice for M1 Minot State University, as he had two goals in the win. Gejdos found the back of the net 14:18 into the first period to make the score 3-0 M1 Minot State University and again while 19:05 into the second to make the score 4-2 M1 Minot State University.

The Beavers stifled M1 Non-ACHA Team's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. By firing 48 shots on goal, M1 Minot State University exceeded the 5.6 shots it averages per game this year.

M1 Minot State University additionally got points from Jeremy Johnson, who also grabbed two goals and two assists to lead the team in points. M1 Minot State University also had goals scored by Brett Nespor and Brett Mcnevin, who scored one goal each. In addition, M1 Minot State University received assists from Robby Moar, who had two and Dillon Smith, Dylan Johnson, Lyndon Lipinski, and Austin Yano, who contributed one each.

With 25 shots on target during the contest, M1 Non-ACHA Team exceeded the 0.3 shots it averages per game this year. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

M1 Non-ACHA Team was helped by Number Three, who registered one goal. Three scored 12:50 into the second period to make the score 3-2 M1 Minot State University. Number Two also scored for M1 Non-ACHA Team.

Holden Kurtz rejected 23 shots on goal for the Beavers. M1 Minot State University incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Number One recorded 42 saves for M1 Non-ACHA Team. M1 Non-ACHA Team incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
