Early goals doom M1 Non-ACHA Team, falls to M1 Minot State University, 6-1

A four-goal first period deficit cost M1 Non-ACHA Team, which could not recover and fell to the M1 Minot State University Beavers, 6-1.

M1 Minot State University was led by Brett Nespor, who racked up one goal. Nespor scored 15:54 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Minot State University. Carey Morrison provided the assist.

The Beavers' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three M1 Non-ACHA Team power plays.
