NA3HL 18U Selects Black tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but Frontier would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3. Frontier made the score 4-1 on a goal by Cade Boreing at 8:08 in the third period, and NA3HL 18U Selects Black got as close as 4-3 when Curtis Carlson scored 19:43 into the third period. Chris Nicolai had a great game for Frontier, netting two goals. Nicolai's tallies came at 3:41 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Frontier and 18:19 into the first to make the score 2-1 Frontier.
