M2 Keene State College survives M2 Providence College comeback, wins 6-5

M2 Providence College tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but M2 Keene State College would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-5.

A goal by Mitchel Myers put M2 Keene State College up 6-3 in the third period, but M2 Providence College pulled to within one on Robert Higgins's tally 15:05 into the third period.

M2 Keene State College got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. The 45 shots that M2 Keene State College put on net surpassed M2 Keene State College's average of 0.6 shots per game this season. M2 Keene State College's penalty killing units received substantial work throughout the game as M2 Keene State College finished with 30 penalty minutes.

M2 Keene State College was helped by Josh Bell, who registered two goals. Bell scored the first of his two goals at 2:26 into the second period to make the score 3-1 M2 Keene State College. Derek Clark provided the assist. Bell's next tally made the score 5-3 M2 Keene State College with 15:10 left in the third period. M2 Keene State College also got a goal from Matt Girard as well.
