Schimony's goals lift Lansdale Catholic to 5-1 victory over MethactonHatfield Blue Fri, Jan 29, 2016 Behind a great game by Robert Schimony, who had two goals, Lansdale Catholic defeated Methacton, 5-1. Schimony scored at 1:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Lansdale Catholic and again while 13:32 into the first to make the score 2-0 Lansdale Catholic.Lansdale Catholic's penalty kill excelled, as Lansdale Catholic gave up zero goals despite allowing eight power plays. Lansdale Catholic stifled Methacton's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Lansdale Catholic kept Methacton's goalie busy throughout the game, and Shane Cassady made 30 saves on 35 shots. Lansdale Catholic outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, Lansdale Catholic averages 1.6 goal per contest. Lansdale Catholic could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 48 minutes in penalties during the game. Lansdale Catholic additionally got points from Cole Crimlish, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, Derek Li, who also had one goal and one assist, and Jared Trefz, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, Lansdale Catholic received assists from Nicholas Sexton, who had one.
