Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) tried to dig itself out of a two-goal hole, but LA Jr. Kings (MM) held on for a 3-2 victory.

A goal by Austin Koss put LA Jr. Kings (MM) up 3-1 in the second period, but Phoenix Jr. Coyotes (MM) pulled to within one on Brett Dillon's tally 15:18 into the third period.
