The game between North Jersey Avalanche (MM) and Boston Advantage (MM) was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end North Jersey Avalanche (MM) emerged with a 4-2 win. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Christopher Gratton at 6:10 of the third period. Todd Goehring had a great game for North Jersey Avalanche (MM), netting two goals. Goehring scored at 16:27 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Boston Advantage (MM) and again while 1:25 into the third to make the score 2-2. Boston Advantage (MM) was unable to stop North Jersey Avalanche (MM) from sending pucks towards the net, and North Jersey Avalanche (MM) eventually piled up 55 shots on goal. North Jersey Avalanche (MM) also got points from Patrick Cozzi, who also had one goal and one assist. More assists for North Jersey Avalanche (MM) came via Michael Ufberg, who had two and Andrew Barber, Tyler Antonucci, and Matt Kidney, who contributed one each. Boston Advantage (MM) was helped by Jack Baron, who registered one goal. Baron scored 10:49 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Boston Advantage (MM). Tim Weinstein assisted on the tally. Boston Advantage (MM) also got a goal from Sean Davis as well. Other players who recorded assists for Boston Advantage (MM) were Shawn Montgomery and J Nagle, who each chipped in one. Anthony Porrino took the win and made 11 saves before being replaced by Joshua Sarlo who made 16 saves. North Jersey Avalanche (MM) ended with no penalties and went 0-for-0 on the power play. Josh Mayanja made 51 saves for Boston Advantage (MM) on 55 shots. Boston Advantage (MM) avoided the penalty box for the entire game and scored zero goals off of zero power plays. |
