M3-Fort Lewis College tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but M3-Colorado School of Mines would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-4.

M3-Colorado School of Mines made the score 6-3 on a goal by Brendan Aleksivich at 27 seconds in the third period, and M3-Fort Lewis College got as close as 6-4 when Tyler Scott scored 3:00 into the third period.

M3-Colorado School of Mines got the win with help from a great game by Alexi Redies, who had one goal and two assists. Redies scored 7:29 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M3-Colorado School of Mines. Parker Fawcett provided the assist.

M3-Fort Lewis College was unable to stop M3-Colorado School of Mines from sending pucks towards the net, and M3-Colorado School of Mines eventually piled up 33 shots on goal. The defensemen of M3-Colorado School of Mines were also effective in M3-Fort Lewis College's zone, and came away with five goals.

M3-Colorado School of Mines also got points from Fawcett, who also racked up one goal and one assist.
