M3-Aurora University-Blue wins tough contest against M3-Robert Morris University-Peoria, 5-3

The game between M3-Aurora University-Blue and M3-Robert Morris University-Peoria was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end M3-Aurora University-Blue emerged with a 5-3 win.

No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Jordan Holloway at 16:40 of the third period.

M3-Aurora University-Blue pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 22 penalty minutes.

M3-Robert Morris University-Peoria was unable to stop M3-Aurora University-Blue from sending pucks towards the net, and M3-Aurora University-Blue eventually piled up 40 shots on goal.

M3-Aurora University-Blue was led by Jon Stevanovich, who tallied two goals. Stevanovich scored the first of his two goals at 4:04 into the third period to make the score 3-2 M3-Robert Morris University-Peoria. Brandon Zurick provided the assist.
