Huge game by Smith boosts M2 Washington University of over M2 Non-ACHA Team, 6-2

Keenan Smith had one goal and two assists to lead M2 Washington University of to a 6-2 victory over M2 Non-ACHA Team.

Smith got on the board by slotting home a power play goal 19:35 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Number Two picked up the assist.

In the losing effort, M2 Non-ACHA Team was led by Number Ten, who finished with two goals. Ten scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 8:36 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Non-ACHA Team. Two assisted on the tally. Ten's next tally on the power play made the score 3-2 M2 Washington University of with six seconds left in the second period. A roughing penalty on Troy Gasser had put M2 Non-ACHA Team on the power play. Two picked up the assist.

M2 Washington University of kept M2 Non-ACHA Team's goalie busy throughout the game, and Number One made 60 saves on 66 shots. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
