M3-Georgia Institute of Technology survived a determined comeback attempt by M2 North Carolina-Charlotte Univ on the way to a 3-2 win.

M3-Georgia Institute of Technology made the score 3-0 on a goal by Cole Wright at 6:15 in the third period, and M2 North Carolina-Charlotte Univ got as close as 3-2 when Thomas Gilmartin scored 10:23 into the third period.

Wright was all over the ice for M3-Georgia Institute of Technology, as he racked up two goals in the win.
