M2 Chapman University survived a determined comeback attempt by M2 Non-ACHA Team on the way to a 7-6 win.

M2 Chapman University took a 7-5 lead during the third period, only to have M2 Non-ACHA Team storm back on a Number Six goal 18:49 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

The teams traded the lead five times and neither team could skate away and hide. M2 Non-ACHA Team took its last lead at 8:09 in the third on a goal by Number Five to make the score 5-4 M2 Non-ACHA Team. M2 Chapman University took over the lead for good with a goal by Noah Barrett 16:45 into the third to make the score 6-5.

M2 Chapman University's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on eight M2 Non-ACHA Team power plays. M2 Chapman University forced M2 Non-ACHA Team goalie Number Thirty to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots. M2 Chapman University outdid its season average for goals scored.
