St. Andrews College boosted by Chapman's play in net, beats Ridley College 4-1

Cole Chapman stood on his head and made 25 saves to lead the St. Andrews College Saints to a 4-1 victory over the Ridley College Tigers.

St. Andrews College was sparked by Corey Andonovski, who finished with one goal. Andonovski scored 10:33 into the second period to make the score 2-1 St. Andrews College. Regan Kimens provided the assist.

St. Andrews College also got points from Kimens, who also registered one goal and one assist. Morgan Barron also scored for St. Andrews College. In addition, St. Andrews College received assists from Kody Clark, who had two and Mitchell Martan, Reid Yochim, and Ryan OConnell, who each chipped in one.

Ridley College's offense operated below its season average. The Tigers average 3.5 goals per game.

Ridley College was led by Connor Hill, who scored the team's only goal. Hill scored on the power play 14:43 into the first period to make the score 1-1. The Tigers had gotten the advantage when the Saints' Noah Lugli was sent off for high sticking. Cameron Beaudry picked up the assist.

St. Andrews College incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Chris McGonigle made 26 saves for Ridley College on 30 shots. The Tigers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
