Huge game by Abbott boosts M3-Colorado School of Mines over M3-Fort Lewis College, 8-3

M3-Colorado School of Mines' Robert Abbott had a big offensive game, scoring one goal and contributing two assists in his team's 8-3 win over M3-Fort Lewis College.

Abbott scored 17:05 into the second period to make the score 4-3 M3-Colorado School of Mines. Abbott dished an assist on Matthew Musso's goal that made the score 1-0 M3-Colorado School of Mines at 2:22 into the first period. He added another helper on Jeremy Che's goal that made the score 3-3 at 6:46 into the second period.

M3-Colorado School of Mines pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 14 penalty minutes.

Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with four goals.
