M2 Weber State University outlasts M2 Utah State University, 3-2

The game between M2 Weber State University and M2 Utah State University was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end M2 Weber State University emerged with a 3-2 win.

M2 Weber State University gained the winning advantage on a goal by Jake Webber 7:12 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

M2 Weber State University got the win with help from a great game by Webber, who had two goals and one assist. Webber scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 6:02 into the second period to make the score 1-1. M2 Weber State University had gotten the advantage when M2 Utah State University's Cooper Limb was sent off for hooking. Lakoda Coleman picked up the assist. Webber's next tally on the power play made the score 3-2 M2 Weber State University with 12:48 left in the third period. Alex Pizarro assisted on the tally.

M2 Weber State University excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. M2 Weber State University's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. With 35 shots on target during the contest, M2 Weber State University exceeded the 0.6 shots it averages per game this year.
