M2 Hamline University survives M2 Winona State University comeback, wins 6-4

M2 Winona State University tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but M2 Hamline University would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-4.

M2 Hamline University took a 6-3 lead during the third period, only to have M2 Winona State University storm back on a Connor Wilcox goal 13:46 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

M2 Hamline University was led by Parsa Monsef, who tallied one goal. Monsef scored 1:58 into the third period to make the score 5-3 M2 Hamline University. Alec Austin picked up the assist.

M2 Winona State University was unable to stop M2 Hamline University from sending pucks towards the net, and M2 Hamline University eventually piled up 31 shots on goal. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

M2 Hamline University additionally got points from Austin, who also registered one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. M2 Hamline University also had goals scored by Frank Senese, Nicholas Tomljenovic, Max Rasmussen, and Matthew Schwartz, who each put in one. In addition, M2 Hamline University received assists from Cody Jahrig, who had two and Mario Senese and Nick Sova, who contributed one each.

M2 Winona State University forced M2 Hamline University goalie Nick Heimer to work between the pipes, taking 47 shots.

M2 Winona State University also got points from Matt Ratzloff, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Jered McLaughlin, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Ben Selberg also scored for M2 Winona State University. More assists for M2 Winona State University came via Cole Nicol, K.C. Larson, and Colton Tydrich, who each chipped in one.
