Thunder AAA Hockey downs Colorado Rampage (MM), 6-2

Thunder AAA Hockey took home the 6-2 victory over Colorado Rampage (MM).

Thunder AAA Hockey surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Thunder AAA Hockey has scored at the pace of 2.9 goals per game during the current campaign.

Thunder AAA Hockey was helped by TYLER DILL, who had two goals. DILL scored the first of his two goals at 5:19 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Thunder AAA Hockey. DILL's next tally made the score 4-0 Thunder AAA Hockey with 14:12 left in the third period. JAKE FRIEDMAN assisted on the tally. Thunder AAA Hockey additionally got points from FRIEDMAN, who also registered one goal and one assist. Thunder AAA Hockey also had goals scored by RENARS KRASTENBERGS, SETH BACON, and ERIC (ZEKE) ZEIER JR, who each put in one. In addition, Thunder AAA Hockey received assists from ZACH ZALAR, who had one.

Colorado Rampage (MM) managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Colorado Rampage (MM) finished below its season average of 16.0 penalty minutes per game.

Colorado Rampage (MM) was led by Adam Vandenbos, who tallied one goal. Vandenbos scored 14:46 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Thunder AAA Hockey. Ben Barrett picked up the assist. Colorado Rampage (MM) also got a goal from Gabe Trujillo as well. Other players who recorded assists for Colorado Rampage (MM) were Jesse Quistorf, Carson Briske, and Mack Starr, who contributed one each.

NICOLAS DEANTONIO rejected 21 shots on goal for Thunder AAA Hockey. Thunder AAA Hockey incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors and had no power play opportunities. Colorado Rampage (MM)'s Kevin Lake stopped 22 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Colorado Rampage (MM) registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
