M2 Georgetown University penalty kill dominates in 5-2 defeat of M2 Saint Josephs University

The M2 Georgetown University Hoyas' penalty kill was superb, as M2 Georgetown University survived multiple penalties to beat M2 Saint Josephs University, 5-2.

The Hoyas were led by Peter Hagerty, who tallied one goal. Hagerty scored 10:43 into the second period to make the score 3-1 M2 Georgetown University.

M2 Georgetown University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 Saint Josephs University to score on any of its six power plays. The Hoyas forced M2 Saint Josephs University goalie Christopher DAlessio to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

M2 Georgetown University additionally got points from Dan Shea, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Aidan Neustadtl also scored for M2 Georgetown University. More assists for M2 Georgetown University came via Mike Pesce, Brendan Mykle Winkler, Clifford, and Christopher Nolan, who each chipped in one.

M2 Saint Josephs University was helped by Dean Keeney, who grabbed one goal. Keeney scored 7:42 into the third period to make the score 4-2 M2 Georgetown University. M2 Saint Josephs University also got a goal from Eddie Markowski as well. In addition, M2 Saint Josephs University received assists from Ryley Harper, who had one.
