M2 Merrimack College beats M2 Vermont University of 3-2 after comeback scare

M2 Vermont University of tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but M2 Merrimack College would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 3-2.

M2 Merrimack College made the score 3-0 on a goal by Sean Keenan at 16:38 in the second period, and M2 Vermont University of got as close as 3-2 when Stephen Franze scored 8:45 into the third period.

M2 Merrimack College got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game. With 42 shots on target during the contest, M2 Merrimack College exceeded the 0.1 shots it averages per game this year.
