Huge game by Bennett boosts M2 Trinity College over Quinnipiac, 8-5

Jake Bennett had two goals and two assists to lead M2 Trinity College to an 8-5 victory over Quinnipiac.

Bennett scored at 4:31 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M2 Trinity College and again while 17:43 into the first to make the score 3-1 M2 Trinity College.

M2 Trinity College outdid its season average for goals scored. M2 Trinity College has scored at the pace of 4.8 goals per game during the current campaign. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.

M2 Trinity College also got points from Cam Smith, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Matthew Lucas, who also had one goal and two assists, and Matthew Butler, who also registered one goal and one assist. M2 Trinity College also had goals scored by James Daly, Ben Barton, and Charlie Mitchell, who scored one goal each.
