M2 Scranton University of blows out M2 Lafayette College, 8-4

M2 Scranton University of had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-4 win over M2 Lafayette College.

M2 Scranton University of got the win thanks to a great game by William Girimonte, who had one goal and two assists. Girimonte scored 4:47 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Scranton University of. Nicholas Iannotti provided the assist.

M2 Scranton University of pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 16 penalty minutes.

M2 Scranton University of forced M2 Lafayette College's goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, getting 38 shots and forcing 30 saves. Eric Herbst made 25 stops and Alexander Hope made five. M2 Scranton University of put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 Lafayette College to score on any of its seven power plays.

M2 Scranton University of additionally got points from Ross Kleinschmidt, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Alexander DiMeo, who also had two goals and one assist. M2 Scranton University of also had goals scored by Michael Vaynshteyn, who had two and Joseph Sekelsky and Maciej Wesolowski, who each put in one.
