After knotting things up at 3-3 on a power play goal by Scott Bagby at 17:33 in the second, Iowa Wild (MM) got the game-winner from Blake Cook at 4:47 in the third period.

Iowa Wild (MM) put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Colorado Thunderbirds (MM) to score on any of its four power plays.
