Addison Oliver registered two points to lead the M2 North Carolina State University Wolfpack to a 6-1 victory over the M2 Duke University Blue Devils.

M2 North Carolina State University put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow M2 Duke University to score on any of its three power plays. The Wolfpack kept the Blue Devils' goalie busy throughout the game, and Nick Barra made 73 saves on 79 shots.

M2 North Carolina State University also got points from Sam Banasiewicz, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Others who scored for M2 North Carolina State University included Danny Fredenburg, Daniel Blue, Luis Gimenez Madill, and Simon Lechter, who scored one goal each. In addition, M2 North Carolina State University received assists from Andrew Kristof, Chris Wing, Will Biberdorf, and Fareed Farhat, who contributed one each and Garrett Sunda and Sean Blye, who each chipped in two.

M2 Duke University did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Blue Devils average 3.9 goals per game. Penalties took their toll on M2 Duke University, as its penalty kill unit let in two power play goals.

The Blue Devils were led by Travis Buck, who scored the team's only goal. Buck scored 2:31 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M2 Duke University. Jordan Maynard provided the assist.
