M3-Ball State University sunk by penalties, falls to M3-Purdue University 7-2

A rash of penalties cost M3-Ball State University the game, as M3-Purdue University netted four goals with a man advantage in a 7-2 win.

M3-Purdue University was sparked by Austin Bickle, who registered one goal. Bickle scored on the power play zero seconds into the first period to make the score 2-1 M3-Ball State University. Andy Pietraniec picked up the assist.

By firing 55 shots on goal, M3-Purdue University exceeded the 2.8 shots it averages per game this year.

M3-Purdue University additionally got points from Nicholas Schneider, who also grabbed two goals and one assist, John Vanvliet, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points, and Pietraniec, who also racked up one goal and one assist. M3-Purdue University also had goals scored by Russell Ferro and Eric Menzel, who scored one goal each.
