M1 Rochester College uses big second period to beat M1 Slippery Rock University, 7-1Mercyhurst Ice Center Sat, Oct 17, 2015 The M1 Rochester College Warriors scored five goals in the second period to pull away from the M1 Slippery Rock University Pride and clinch a 7-1 win. Brock Malatches was all over the ice for M1 Rochester College, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Malatches scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 7:03 into the first period to make the score 1-0 M1 Rochester College. Joey Giordano picked up the assist. Malatches' next tally on the power play made the score 2-0 M1 Rochester College with 19:27 left in the second period. Tj Burns assisted on the tally.
