M2 Providence College survived a determined comeback attempt by M2 Vermont University of on the way to a 2-1 win.

A goal by Tanner Tuohy put M2 Providence College up 2-0 in the first period, but M2 Vermont University of pulled to within one on Kyle Nicholas's tally 13:06 into the third period.
