Kashmere scored at 7:05 into the third period to make the score 4-3 M1 Pittsburgh University of and again while on the power play 14:19 into the third to make the score 6-3 M1 Pittsburgh University of.

M1 Pittsburgh University of stifled M1 West Virginia University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The 39 shots that the Panthers put on net surpassed M1 Pittsburgh University of's average of 2.0 shots per game this season.
