Carrie Jickling had one goal and two assists to lead the Liberty University Flames to a 5-0 victory over the Northeastern University Huskies.

Jickling got on the board by slotting home a goal 7:08 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Liberty University. Chelsey Greenwood picked up the assist. Jickling dished an assist on Courtney Gilmour's goal that made the score 3-0 Liberty University at 6:14 into the third period. He added another helper on Gilmour's goal that made the score 4-0 Liberty University at 10:53 into the third period.

Liberty University stifled Northeastern University's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Liberty University additionally got points from Greenwood, who also finished with one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Lauren Mcdonald also scored for Liberty University. In addition, Liberty University received assists from Clarissa Tipping, who had two and Kelly Hutton, Catharine Burrell, and Lauren Pillisch, who contributed one each.

The Flames incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Huskies incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
