UW- LaCrosse's Kody Novinska scored 2:01 into overtime to beat M3-Loyola University-Chicago, 7-6 (OT).

UW- LaCrosse overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. UW- LaCrosse trailed 5-3 after a goal by M3-Loyola University-Chicago's Dominic Marcus at 14:40 in the second period. UW- LaCrosse tied things up at 6-6 on a goal by Zach Tomesh at 16:48 in the third period.

UW- LaCrosse forced M3-Loyola University-Chicago's netminders to work without much rest, finishing with 55 shots and forcing 48 saves. Nathan Pecoraro made seven stops and Tyler Kovach made 41.
