M3-Southern Connecticut State blows out Quinnipiac, 8-4

M3-Southern Connecticut State had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to an 8-4 win over Quinnipiac.

Matthew Dostie had a great game for M3-Southern Connecticut State, netting two goals. Dostie found the back of the net 4:53 into the first period to make the score 2-1 M3-Southern Connecticut State and again while 7:44 into the first to make the score 3-1 M3-Southern Connecticut State.

M3-Southern Connecticut State excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. M3-Southern Connecticut State's offense rang up 45 shots on Quinnipiac's net. M3-Southern Connecticut State bested its season scoring average. M3-Southern Connecticut State averages 5.7 goals per game.
