LaManna's hat trick boosts M3-North Carolina - Wilmington over M3-Christopher Newport University, 8-5

Giovanni LaManna netted a hat trick to lead the M3-North Carolina - Wilmington Seahawks over M3-Christopher Newport University, 8-5.

LaManna notched his first tally 7:14 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:36 into the second and at 45 seconds into the third.

M3-North Carolina - Wilmington excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Seahawks forced M3-Christopher Newport University goalie Eric Dumas to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots. M3-North Carolina - Wilmington surpassed its usual scoring output this season.
