M2 Wake Forest University falls to M2 George Washington University after surprising comeback

M2 Wake Forest University could not hold down the M2 George Washington University Colonials, and Colonials erased a two-goal deficit en route to a 5-4 win.

M2 George Washington University never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Colonials trailed 4-2 after a power play goal by M2 Wake Forest University's Pat McCormick at 2:10 in the second period. M2 George Washington University tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Max Terhar at 8:40 in the third period. The Colonials netted the game winner at 15:28 in the third period on a goal by Terhar.
