The M2 George Washington University Colonials and the M2 Elon University Phoenix skate to 4-4 tie

M2 George Washington University rebounded from a two-goal deficit to tie M2 Elon University, 4-4.

The Colonials were held below their usual level of production. M2 George Washington University puts an average of 7.8 pucks into the net per game. The Colonials were forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as they racked up 22 penalty minutes.

M2 George Washington University was helped by Sam Finkler, who had one goal. Finkler scored 15:56 into the third period to make the score 4-4. Ryan Ferizovic picked up the assist. M2 George Washington University also had goals scored by Will Yerkovich, Christopher Perugini, and Max Terhar, who scored one goal each. In addition, M2 Elon University received assists from Maxx Forti, who had one.

Dylan Cleary recorded 39 saves for M2 George Washington University. The Colonials registered one goal on five power play opportunities. The Phoenix's Michael Sebetic stopped 26 shots out of the 30 that he faced. M2 Elon University registered one goal on seven power play opportunities.
