M1 Iowa State University uses fast start to beat M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville, 11-1

M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville fell behind early, and the M1 Iowa State University Cyclones kept piling on the points on the way to an 11-1 victory.

Dalton Kaake had a great game for M1 Iowa State University, netting two goals. Kaake scored at 16:20 into the first period to make the score 2-0 M1 Iowa State University and again while 9:31 into the third to make the score 9-0 M1 Iowa State University.

The Cyclones kept M2 Southern Illinois-Edwardsville's goalie busy throughout the game, and Nicholas Johnsen made 38 saves on 49 shots.
