Marshall's big game bests Fighting Mongoose in 8-2 The Moose win

Sam Marshall had one goal and two assists to lead The Moose to an 8-2 victory over Fighting Mongoose.

Marshall got on the board by slotting home a goal 12:48 into the first period to make the score 3-0 The Moose. Kyle Garnett picked up the assist. Marshall dished an assist on Steve Koonts's goal that made the score 1-0 The Moose at 9:36 into the first period. He added another helper on Koonts' goal that made the score 4-0 The Moose at 15:32 into the first period.

The Moose's offense rang up 36 shots on Fighting Mongoose's net. The Moose's goal total was higher than its season average. The Moose averages 4.3 goals per game.
