M1 Binghamton University falls apart in second, loses to M1 Oswego State University, 11-3

The M1 Binghamton University Bearcats was within striking distance after one period, but the M1 Oswego State University Lakers put the pedal down in the second en route to an 11-3 victory.

Michael Layman had four goals and three assists to lead M1 Oswego State University. Layman's first goal came 9:00 into the first period. He then added goals at 14:43 into the first, at 3:37 into the second, and at 12:07 into the third.

The Lakers bested their season scoring average. M1 Oswego State University averages 4.4 goals per game. The Lakers took advantage of M1 Binghamton University's penalties, tallying two goals off of three power play opportunities. Team's forwards weren't the only contributers offensively, and the team's defensemen showcased their scoring touch with two goals.
