M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut survives M2 Siena College comeback, wins 6-5

M2 Siena College tried to dig itself out of a four-goal hole, but M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut held on for a 6-5 victory.

M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut took a 5-1 lead during the second period, only to have M2 Siena College storm back on a Ricky Runyon goal 7:00 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut's penalty kill excelled, as M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.

M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut forced M2 Siena College goalie Paul Pizzitola to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. M2 Rensselaer Polytechnic Institut got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
