The Massachusetts University of Minutemen gutted out a close 4-2 win against the Colorado State University Rams.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Brittani Lanzilli secured the win for Massachusetts University of with a goal in the third period.

Michaela Tosone had a great game for the Minutemen, netting two goals. Tosone found the back of the net 8:00 into the third period to make the score 2-2 and again while on the power play 15:34 into the third to make the score 4-2 Massachusetts University of.

Massachusetts University of was often in penalty trouble, totaling six minors and one major for 17 minutes in penalty time. The Minutemen had been averaging 8.0 minutes in penalties per game.
