Nielson's hat trick boosts M3-Penn State-Harrisburg over M3-Mount St. Marys University, 9-5

M3-Mount St. Marys University could not stop M3-Penn State-Harrisburg's John Nielson, who tallied a hat trick in a 9-5 win.

Nielson notched his first tally 15:48 into the first period. He then added goals at 19:10 into the first and at 3:21 into the second.

M3-Penn State-Harrisburg forced M3-Mount St. Marys University's goalies to work without much rest, getting 53 shots and forcing 44 saves. Levi Bean made 27 stops and Dennis Devol made 17. M3-Penn State-Harrisburg bested its season scoring average. This season, M3-Penn State-Harrisburg averages 6.5 goals per contest.
