Banasiewicz nets hat trick, leads M2 North Carolina State University to 9-1 win over M2 Saint Josephs University

A hat trick by Sam Banasiewicz was the highlight in Wolfpack's 9-1 win against M2 Saint Josephs University.

Banasiewicz's first goal came 6:33 into the first period. He then added goals at 5:50 into the third and at 18:51 into the third.

M2 Saint Josephs University's 14 penalties came back to haunt it, as M2 Saint Josephs University let up five goals while on the penalty kill.

The M2 North Carolina State University Wolfpack's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four M2 Saint Josephs University power plays. M2 North Carolina State University outdid its season average for goals scored. The Wolfpack have scored at the pace of 6.0 goals per game during the current campaign.
