M2 Westfield State University tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but M2 Trinity College held on for a 5-3 victory.

M2 Trinity College took a 5-2 lead during the third period, only to have M2 Westfield State University storm back on a Kristian Houda goal 4:28 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

M2 Trinity College pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 32 penalty minutes.

M2 Trinity College was helped by Sam Buck, who registered one goal. Buck scored 16:43 into the second period to make the score 4-2 M2 Trinity College. Dana Wensberg assisted on the tally. M2 Trinity College also got points from Wensberg, who also tallied one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Others who scored for M2 Trinity College included Takuta Wada, James Cescon, and Matthew Butler, who scored one goal each. More assists for M2 Trinity College came via Louis Capucci and Jake Bennett, who each chipped in one and Charlie Mitchell and Matthew Lucas, who contributed two each.

In addition, M2 Westfield State University received assists from Mark Eagles, Daniel Hamilton, and CJ Kenny, who each chipped in one.
