M3-Northwestern survives M3-Indiana Tech comeback, wins 6-5

M3-Indiana Tech tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but M3-Northwestern would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-5.

M3-Northwestern made the score 6-3 on a goal by Brendan OConnell at 10:05 in the third period, and M3-Indiana Tech got as close as 6-5 when Austin Griffis scored 16:11 into the third period.

M3-Northwestern kept M3-Indiana Tech's goalie busy throughout the game, and Christopher Boyd made 34 saves on 40 shots. M3-Northwestern bested its season scoring average. M3-Northwestern has scored at the pace of 3.8 goals per game during the current campaign. M3-Northwestern could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.
