M3-Northwestern falls to M3-Indiana Tech in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Jerret Haas gave M3-Indiana Tech a 3-2 (OT) victory over M3-Northwestern when he scored 3:25 into the extra period.

M3-Indiana Tech was led by Haas, who had one goal and one assist.

M3-Indiana Tech put 46 shots on net during the contest, more than the 10.1 it averages per game.

M3-Indiana Tech also had goals scored by Jacob Fallis and Jordan Reese, who each put in one. In addition, M3-Indiana Tech received assists from Nick Janiszewski, Eric Stewart, and Connor Barney, who each chipped in one.

M3-Northwestern excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in eight chances. M3-Indiana Tech was unable to stop M3-Northwestern from sending pucks towards the net, and M3-Northwestern eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. M3-Northwestern could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 18 minutes in penalties during the game.

M3-Northwestern was helped by Brendan OConnell, who registered one goal. OConnell scored 11:13 into the second period to make the score 1-0 M3-Northwestern. Alexander Gandolfo picked up the assist. M3-Northwestern also got a goal from Michael Gullott as well.

Christopher Boyd recorded 34 saves for M3-Indiana Tech. M3-Indiana Tech incurred 28 minutes in penalty time with four minors. M3-Indiana Tech ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Barney was ejected from the game. Matthew Johnson made 43 saves for M3-Northwestern on 46 shots. M3-Northwestern registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
