The Robert Morris Univ Illinoi Eagles and the Davenport University Panthers skate to 1-1 (OT) tie

Davenport University trailed Robert Morris Univ Illinoi by one in the first period, but the Panthers did not give up and the game ended in a 1-1 (OT) tie.

The Eagles' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Davenport University power plays. Robert Morris Univ Illinoi was held below its usual level of production. The Eagles average 4.5 goals per game. Robert Morris Univ Illinoi forced Davenport University goalie Karley Ferguson to work between the pipes, taking 46 shots.

The Eagles were led by Allyson Zachwieja, who scored the team's only goal. Zachwieja scored 58 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Robert Morris Univ Illinoi. Grace Dynek provided the assist.

The Panthers put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Robert Morris Univ Illinoi to score on any of its three power plays.
